As much as I LOVE this game's design and atmosphere...the puzzles are immensely difficult. Especially the wheel one. The one with the green turning thing. I keep TRYING to do it clockwise and according to the paper, yet I am still unable to unlock the door below. There really should be a walkthrough or something for this, because I'm a pretty smart guy and even I'M completely stuck!

Mission acomplished!
I did it, it was very, very, very hard to make, but after repeatedly hitting my head against the keyboard i managed to get that stupid recording software to work and after a fiersome fight with the youtube registering system i gave up and made an account on vimeo!

This is an obvious April Fools Joke. But at least the Pico School 2 had SOME gameplay. This doesn't even have that. As such, I am giving this a No Star rating because it's not funny. It's not witty. There's no real humor involved, no effort whatsoever, and it so obviously meant to troll people clicking on the game and expecting an actual sequel to the original game, which, by the way, you left on a cliffhanger. I know you've got a lot on your chest, having to run a big-ass website and all, but frankly...this is just really bad.

Kolumbo responds:

It is NOT a joke, asshole.

I am very impressed AND frustrated. Congrats.

Occasionally, I come across a game that challenges me or makes me very involved. One that has me staying up late, saying "come on, come ON" as I try to win it. One that, believe it or not, makes me go "ARGH" and bite into my fist as I screw up at it. This is one of those games. It's challenging, tough as can be, and kick-ass, all at the same time. The graphics are fairly simple, naturally, but there's a fluid, retro feel about it all and the little humor you insert with Rick and...heh, "Smurf"...is funny. Nice names for the bosses, and of course, the "play as multiple people" option is very excellent. My only gripe that keeps this from getting a perfect ten is that I beat the game on the Hard option and I got no reward, which is depressing to me, because I had hoped that I would be able to have something to go on for winning as X and Zero. Now I'm on Delia, and DAMN is Fusion Drake tough for Melee characters! I intend to continue trying hard until I figure out the secret to creaming this sucker! Best of luck to your future projects, and may your future shine bright, maelstormm!

Thanks. I learned a bunch of do's and don't after making this one (given it's been years since this post) and hope RN/MMNR work better for ya.

This was a good game and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I like the simple way the game operated and yet the complexity you added to it. Also the plot was quite intriguing. The woodcutter avenged his wife and saved the land, but now he was nothing left. All I can say is that where there is life, there is hope. You just gotta find it.

SecretSecretary responds:

Nice, thanks :)

Uh....I...uh...I don't know what to say.

That wasn't a very fun GAME, but it was a nice parody, that's for sure. Next time though, make it a real game, then it would be cool.

Miconjo responds:

Thanks, I'm glad you thought of it as a very fun game.

I'm proud to be a Newgrounder. ever since I joined I made a promise: To not to be one of those "That shit sucks out loud" types...I keep to it. I intend to make myself known as a fair and competent reviewer. Look out world!
